Who we are
My name is Tabitha Pappas, and in February of 2024, my life changed forever. What was supposed to be a relaxing Valentine’s Day weekend in Colorado turned into a tragedy when I lost my sister, Trina Nicole Pappas. She was my best friend and losing her broke mine and my family's hearts in ways words can't describe. Learning how to exist in a world without her has been a painful journey, but along the way, I’ve found strength and purpose in keeping her light alive.
Through my grief journey, I’ve discovered that grief isn’t something you "move past"—it's a connection that remains, a way to honor and remember the person you've lost. I tell my story on TikTok, sharing my experience with others who are grieving. I’ve also raised money in Trina's honor to donate to animal shelters and perform random acts of kindness, such as handing out gift cards in my community on what would have been her birthday.
This website is my next venture—a platform to spread grief awareness and keep my sister’s name, Trina Nicole Pappas, alive. Our merchandise is designed for those who, like me, find comfort in wearing their grief as a form of connection, and for those who want to raise awareness about loss and healing.
5% of all merchandise proceeds will go toward building a scholarship fund in Trina’s name, with a small scholarship awarded to one high school senior each February. It’s my way of giving back, honoring her memory, and helping others move forward, even in the smallest of ways.
I know that not everyone feels comfortable wearing their grief on their sleeve, but this brand is about normalizing grief and letting people know they are not alone. Grief can be a way to stay connected to those we’ve lost, and I hope these items serve as reminders of that ongoing bond.
This brand is for the community of grievers, offering hope and meaningful ways to remember your loved ones. Visit our Resources page to explore coping skills, grief support, and more. Whether you’re experiencing loss yourself or supporting someone who is, I’m sorry you're here. But I’m proud of you for choosing life after loss.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
